La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e &#8211; ou AR pour Augmented Reality en anglais &#8211; ne doit pas \u00eatre confondue avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle &#8211; VR pour Virtual Reality &#8211; qui plonge l\u2019utilisateur dans un environnement virtuel en 3D gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un \u00e9quipement sp\u00e9cifique : casque VR par exemple. On dit que la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e \u201cenrichit le monde r\u00e9el\u201d, mais ne le remplace pas comme c\u2019est le cas de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle.<\/p>\n<p>La RA donne la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019<b>acc\u00e9der \u00e0 du contenu num\u00e9rique sans avoir \u00e0 cliquer<\/b> ! Dans le cadre d\u2019une application pour la d\u00e9couverte touristique (culture et patrimoine), la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e est utilis\u00e9e \u00e0 travers les smartphones ou tablettes, via la fonction Appareil Photo. En pointant le t\u00e9l\u00e9phone sur un objet pr\u00e9-d\u00e9fini que l\u2019on appelle une mire, l\u2019appareil photo d\u00e9tecte et reconnait l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9ment. Il faut penser cette technologie comme un outil au service du contenu, et de l&rsquo;information que l\u2019on souhaite transmettre. Pour nous, la technologie doit \u00eatre au service de l\u2019histoire, et non l\u2019inverse !<\/p>\n<p>Les circuits interactifs que nous concevons avec les professionnels du tourisme ont pour but de <b>rendre l&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience immersive<\/b> et de plonger l\u2019utilisateur\/le visiteur dans un vrai univers. Imaginez une qu\u00eate pour retrouver des <b>reliques perdues<\/b> depuis des si\u00e8cles dans le centre ville historique, ou dans les entrailles d&rsquo;un myst\u00e9rieux ch\u00e2teau\u2026 Comment rendre la d\u00e9couverte des objets attractive lors de l&rsquo;aventure ? En les faisant appara\u00eetre virtuellement sur le smartphone du joueur gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la R\u00e9alit\u00e9 Augment\u00e9e, lorsqu\u2019il vise le bon emplacement !
